Mission Support Alliance

The Mission Support Alliance, LLC, (MSA) is a U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Richland Operations Office prime contractor, with responsibility for the Mission Support Contract. With worker safety as our prime value, our vision is to make our customers extraordinarily successful in our unified mission of cleaning up the Hanford Site for our community to prosper safely and securely.

The MSA comprises a team of outstanding nationally recognized corporations. Lockheed Martin is the nation's number one government contractor and the world's leading systems integrator of complex advanced systems. Jacobs, Inc. has been involved in every major DOE environmental restoration project, and Wackenhut Services, Inc. is DOE's leading security systems provider. Together, we represent the best the nation has to offer in the areas of project management, systems integration, infrastructure services, construction management, security and emergency operations, business systems and information technology. In addition, we are supported on the Mission Support Contract by a group of Strategic Small Business Partners with proven talent, unique skills and extensive DOE experience.

The purpose of the Mission Support Contract (MSC) is to provide direct support to the DOE and its contractors with cost-effective infrastructure and site services integral and necessary to accomplish the Hanford Site environmental cleanup mission. The scope includes five primary functions:

• Safety, Security and Environment
• Site Infrastructure and Utilities
• Site Business Management
• Information Resources/Content Management
• Portfolio Management

In addition to these functions, MSA plays a key role in ensuring that interfaces with, and between, Hanford Site customers (DOE Offices, Hanford Site contractors, etc.) affecting their scope of work, are managed in a manner that encourages open and proactive communication, collaboration and cooperation.

Our leadership and experience have delivered safety excellence and cost savings at every major DOE closure site, forming the foundation of our strategy and approach to deliver safe, environmentally sound, cost-effective, mission-oriented services.
