The purpose of the Occupational Health Interface Meeting (OHI) is to:
- Provide a forum for discussion of Industrial Hygiene and Occupational Health issues and concerns among Hanford prime contractors and DOE field offices.
- Provide a forum in which the Site Occupational Medical Director (SOMD) and clinic staff and the Site safety and health professionals share relevant information with each other.
Attendees
Attendees traditionally have been made up of: - Hanford Site safety and health professionals (Certified Industrial Hygienist, Industrial Hygienists, Certified Safety Professionals, Safety Professionals)
- Company-appointed representative or alternate for each prime contractor and DOE field offices.
- AMH representation by medical providers, case management, population health, risk communication, and safety and health personnel.
Generally there are six OHI meetings per year, three educational (where participants may earn ABIH Continuing Maintenance points for attendance) and three regular interface forums for communication purposes. For more information about the OHI meetings please contract Lynn Gates.
