AMH provides a return-to-work evaluation for employees who have been absent from work due to illness or injury. Many Hanford contractors require their employees to be evaluated by AMH if they have been off work for 5 or more days. In some cases, additional testing may need to be performed to assess fitness for duty. AMH utilizes workers’ EJTAs to determine if they may safely return to work and whether or not restrictions are necessary. Employees should check with their human resources department or manager regarding their company policy.
