AMH routinely features a new educational presentation that is available at request to Hanford work groups. The featured topic typically coincides with National or Hanford-specific health observances, health initiatives, or seasonal themes. In addition to the AMH Featured Presentation, AMH also offers a variety of other presentations throughout the year.

Title: Exercise as a Foundation for Health
Presenter: Kelly Harnish, AMH Health Education Specialist
Length of presentation: 15-30 minutes (please specify your meeting time limitations so that we can adjust the presentation to fit your meeting agenda).
Description: As we celebrate the beginning of a new year, we often reflect on opportunities to improve our lives in various ways. With holidays behind us, many people feel particularly motivated to exercise. For some, it may be brand new, and for others it may be the challenge of fitting it back into their schedules, or cranking up the intensity on their current routine. Kelly will discuss the benefits of exercise, how to get started, exercise recommendations, and components of a good program. She will also introduce the Hanford WorkFit program, a worksite fitness program created just for Hanford employees.
