Description:
Using Recovery Act funding, contractors are cleaning up dozens of waste sites, including the soil beneath the former location of the K East Basin in the 100K Area, known as the UPR-100-K-1 Waste Site. In this photo, an excavator prepares materials for load out. The track hoe will mix the material while air samplers are running in order to determine if the material has a possibility of causing an airborne hazard during load out, transportation, or disposal.
