Description:
Operators and radiological control technicians prepare to seal out highly contaminated waste from a glove box in the 234-5Z building at the Plutonium Finishing Plant. The waste resulted from chemical decontamination, in which workers wipe down the interior of the glove box with chemicals that reduce the quantity of plutonium contamination to levels permitting on-site disposal as low-level waste.
