Program Organization
DOE has an integrated management approach for groundwater protection. The groundwater protection work is organized around five key functional areas, allowing major portions of the work to be centralized for the entire Hanford Site. Managing the work in an integrated fashion accelerates cleanup and makes it more efficient by coordinating projects, avoiding duplication, and assuring consistent decisions.
