Located within Hanford's 560 square mile area are four fire stations. Learn more about Where We Are. Application Process: The Hanford Fire Department has created a Firefighter Candidate Eligibility list for potential Firefighter hires that will be valid until January 1, 2010. HFD is no longer accepting Firefighter candidate scores or applications through Public Safety Testing (PST) and has interviewed the last prospective candidates through that service. The applicants that have utilized the PST service appear on the current eligibility list. On January 2, 2010 all previous eligibility lists will be retired and a new eligibility list will go into effect. HFD has contracted service for prospective Firefighter/Firefighter Paramedic hires from National Testing Network (NTN): http://www.nationaltestingnetwork.com/ All further HFD hires occurring after January 1, 2010 will come from lists complied from NTN. Please see their website for specific information on the HFD hiring process and any upcoming testing dates. |
