2000 Response & Performance Indicators Response Indicators 713 emergency incidents, 41 actual fires 392 alarm investigations, 19 hazardous material incidents, 22 mutual aid calls, and treated 185 emergency medical patients Performance Indicators 5,998 SCBA bottles were filled 166 fire investigation files were opened by the fire marshal's office 170 fire marshal permits were issued 280 hot work permits were issued 3,168 fire protection systems/components/devices tested corrective maintenance performed on 400 fire protection systems/components/devices preventive maintenance performed on 1,306 fire protection systems/components/devices HFD instructors provided fire prevention education to 832 non-HFD site employees, comprising 624 student hours SCBA activities 279 units received for biannual/annual repair/overhaul and testing 242 biannual/annual tests complete 137 cylinders received for final process and excess 724 HFD cylinders processed after hydrotesting 18 regulator bench tests performed 7 reducer bench tests performed 27 SCBAs repaired 499 cylinder valves repaired or rebuilt 2 harnesses & frames repaired 120 Ska-Paks tested 745 site cylinders picked up and delivered PAPR activities (powered air purifying respirators) 1,701 batteries tested 1,703 blowers tested 1,704 PAPR units delivered to field 1,721 PAPR units received for scheduled maintenance, testing & repair
