Hanford Site Beryllium Training Programs
Information below is provided for reference only; registration for actual course attendance must be completed through your assigned training coordinator.
- Beryllium Associated Worker Training (PDF)
Note: This link illustrates training currently provided to all Hanford workers as a module in the HGET (Hanford General Employee Training) program. Unfortunately, the interactive features included in the actual online course are not available at this website. The program was launched as a standalone program (Course 004108) on July 2, 2010, for individuals that had received HGET training within the previous 24 months; this training was incorporated as a module in the current HGET Program effective July 15, 2010. Both courses are still active in Hanford online computer based training (CBT) programs. HGET must be repeated by site employees each year.
- Beryllium Worker Training Manual (PDF - 7Mb)
Note: This is the current manual (dated March 2010) used in the four-hour Beryllium Worker Course presented at HAMMER. This manual is currently being revised and will be updated at this website when available. This course must be repeated by Beryllium Workers every two years.
- Beryllium Worker Gap Training (PDF)
Note: This link illustrates training provided to supplement previous Beryllium Worker Training and was available on-line (Course 004G004) during the period of October 6, 2009 to September 21, 2010. This material has been included in the current Beryllium Worker course. Unfortunately, the interactive features included in the actual online course are not available at this website.
- Beryllium Supplemental Training Course (PDF)
Note: This link is supplemental training (Course 004106) provided for beryllium affected workers regarding the potential for beryllium dust/debris to be brought into the home of beryllium workers. This information is now included in both the Beryllium Worker training curriculum and the Beryllium Associated Worker CBT modules. This course is still available in the online CBT course offerings.
