Representatives of the Department of Energy, AdvanceMed Hanford, the Hanford Site Beryllium Awareness Group, the U.S. Department of Labor, and the DOE Office of Health, Safety, and Security will provide briefings on beryllium use at the Hanford Site, beryllium hazards, health effects, medical screening programs, and illness compensation programs. Representatives of those groups, along with representatives of the Workers’ Compensation Program will be on hand to attendees with individual questions.
