The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, and the Washington State Department of Ecology – the Tri-Party Agreement (TPA) agencies – are hosting regional workshops on Hanford cleanup along the Columbia River (known as the River Corridor). These workshops will provide information to help prepare stakeholders to participate in these upcoming cleanup decisions. Breakout session topics will cover basic information on the Hanford areas along the river that will be cleaned up, including historical background, types of contamination, and cleanup challenges.
