This modification incorporates contract language, due to the divestiture of 16 miles of the Hanford railroad to the Port of Benton, as follows:

Under Contract Paragraph C.4 INFRASTRUCTURE, section A, GENERAL SCOPE OF INFRASTRUCTURE WORK, paragraph (3), subparagraph (c), delete the word "railroads" and add the words "excluding railroads". The parenthetical remark "(See special consideration for railroads below.)" is also added to paragraph (3), subparagraph (c).

Under Contract Paragraph C.4 INFRASTRUCTURE, section B, INFRASTRUCTURE OPERATIONS AND MAINTENANCE, paragraph (5), delete the words "and railroad maintenance and upgrades". The following note is added to paragraph (5):

          Note: The southern portion (from Horn Rapids Road South) of the Hanford Railroad has been conveyed to the Port of Benton. The Port of Benton has contracted with Livingston Rebuild Center to operate and maintain the railroad. DOE has reserved a license providing access to the railroad, and may require the Contractor, when directed, to load/offload railcars, and provide other miscellaneous support to DOE associated with railroad operations."
