Description:

 

Mission Support Alliance (MSA), LLC (the buyer) is seeking to subcontract for the Fire Protection Engineering (FPE) to support the current L-761 Radio Fire Alarm Reporter (RFAR) project. 

 

Staff Aug (Labor) support.

 

There are approximately 200 facilities at Hanford that have old RFAR units. These units are no longer supported by the manufacturers and cannot be maintained. The L-761 project will replace the outdated RFAR units with new units that can be maintained. This work is being managed by the MSA Projects & Strategic Planning organization. The staff augmentation position will report to the Manager of MSA Central Engineering.

 

SUMMARY OF DESCRIPTION OF WORK –

Support the daily planning and implementation activities of the Project Management organization.

-Assist in building and/or peer checking Facility Modification Package (FMP) design drawings and documentation.

-Interface with building and contractor FPEs and perform Fire Code administration.

-Development of construction redlines, as-built drawings, and closeout activities.

-Support other Engineering tasks such as generation, review, and approval of various studies and technical documents related to Hanford Site Fire Protection Systems and planned project upgrades.

-Support any of the various duties that need to be fulfilled through the organization.
