P-Card

Today Visa Purchasing Cards are used by MSC employees who have a need to make small value purchases. On average, 60 cardholders use P-Cards to place over 40,000 transaction per year.

More commodities and services each year become eligible for purchasing under the MSC P-Card program. The use of Intranet and Internet purchasing of calibration services, office supplies, and computers are just a few of the procurement processes that are being utilized by all current cardholders.

As the P-Card program continues to grow and evolve with each year, Fluor will continue to search for ways to streamline processes. In addition, the organization is continually encouraging the use of the P-Card as a payment mechanism. Currently we have 43 contracts where the P-Card is used as a 'payment mechanism,' thus cutting the costs of invoicing and providing prompt payment to suppliers...essentially creating a win-win situation for all.
