Reducing Chromium in Groundwater
The Department of Energy and contractor CH2M HILL have significantly increased the amount of groundwater being treated near the Columbia River to remove hexavalent chromium, resulting in a reduction in the area of contamination as well as a reduction in the levels of contamination.
