How Do I Charge My Time at Safety Connect?
Each Hanford Prime Contractor may have different policies for attending Safety Connect during working hours. Please contact your company's representative to obtain appropriate charging direction.
Subcontractor employees should contact their contract procurement representative for approval to attend.
Managers are encouraged to allow schedule flexibility, where appropriate, so staff can benefit from this program. Safety is inherent in each of our responsibilities, so it is appropriate for the cost of this event to be charged to your normal job responsibility.
Preparation of presentations and sharing of information is considered an appropriate activity within the scope of the contract, although the commitment of resources requires managerial approval. Your manager can provide the appropriate CACN and Code of Accounts that you should use.
