DOE and Company Status

The intent of this DOE and Company Status webpage is to provide notifications to Hanford employees.

DOE’s first phase of remobilization focuses on high-priority and low-risk work such as construction, training, medical evaluations, and maintenance. Most employees who are currently teleworking will continue to do so; those who return to their regular work locations should be mindful of restrictions in place to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

As part of the Hanford Remobilization Plan, all workers will be required to wear face coverings while working at the Hanford Site. Specific exceptions to the face covering requirement exist and employees should monitor the General Hazards Analysis due to frequent changes and additions.

Pre-work monitoring

Along with wearing face coverings, all employees will be asked to monitor themselves each day prior to leaving for work. Each day prior to leaving for work, ask yourself if you have any of the following COVID-19 related symptoms:

  • A temperature of 100.4o F/38o C or greater
  • Cough
  • Shortness of breath
  • Fatigue
  • Muscle aches
  • New loss of taste or smell
  • Sore throat
  • Chills
  • Congestion or runny nose
  • Nausea or vomiting
  • Diarrhea

If you answer YES to any of these symptoms, please inform your supervisor, do not report to work and contact your personal physician.
