The River and Plateau Committee members will receive two presentations involving groundwater cleanup in the 100-BC Area, and strontium-90 in the 100-K Area. The committee will also discuss a coordinated closure comment period. The proposed changes would update the Tri-Party Agreement to reduce redundancy through improved coordination between two regulatory processes for cleanup decision-making: the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act and the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act.
