The HAB Tank Waste Committee members will receive an update on the Tank Side Cesium Removal System. The system will remove radioactive cesium and solids from liquid tank waste during treatment so the waste can be fed directly to the Low-Activity Waste Facility in the Waste Treatment and Immobilization Plant for vitrification, or immobilization in glass.
