The U.S. Department of Energy would like input on an Environmental Assessment (EA) for Integrated Vegetation Management on the Hanford Site. The EA analyzes a proposed action to manage invasive plants and noxious weeds on the Hanford Site using an integrated approach through a combination of prescribed burning, physical, chemical and biological methods, and re-vegetation methodologies with native plant species across large areas of the Hanford Site.

A 30-day public comment period will run August 18 through September 19. DOE will consider all comments before issuing the final EA and Determination.
