Hanford Cleanup and Budget Priorities Public Meeting

The Department of Energy (DOE), U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the Washington State Department of Ecology (Tri-Party Agreement agencies) invite you to a public meeting on Hanford Site cleanup and budget priorities for fiscal year 2021. The meeting will be held on May 15 at 6:00 p.m. at the Richland Public Library, 955 Northgate Drive, Richland, Washington.
DOE will provide an overview of Hanford’s current projects and the regulatory agencies will provide their perspectives. A question-and-answer session will follow the briefings.
If you are unable to attend the meeting in person, join us online. A webinar will allow you to view the presentation, hear the speakers and ask questions. The facilitator will read questions submitted online for responses from the presenters. To register go to:

At this meeting, the Tri-Party Agreement agencies will discuss the effect of budget decisions and take public questions of cleanup priorities, as well as outline any changes to cleanup objectives and decisions at Hanford. Public comments, either at the meeting or submitted later, must be in writing. A public comment period on Hanford cleanup priorities will run from May 15 to June 15, 2019. All written comments will be considered during DOE’s budget formulation process.
