Public Comment Period on Hanford Cleanup Priorities
The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) invites you to a virtual public briefing on Hanford Site cleanup priorities. DOE will provide an overview of Hanford’s current projects, followed by regulatory agencies the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and Washington State Department of Ecology providing their perspectives. The agencies listen and consider the values and priorities expressed by the public and stakeholders.
A question-and-answer session will follow the briefing. Public comments, either at the briefing or submitted later, must be in writing.
The virtual briefing will be held March 15 at 5:30 p.m. PT on Microsoft Teams. You can view the presentation, hear the speakers and ask your questions. To participate, please follow the instructions below:
