A public meeting is scheduled to discuss proposed changes to the 300 Area Process Trenches and the 183-H Solar Evaporation Basins Treatment, Storage and Disposal units.  The meeting will be held at 5:30 p.m. February 28, 2017 in the Richland Public Library, 955 Northgate Drive, Richland, WA.  This public meeting fulfills a Class 2 modification requirement along with a 60-day public comment period, which began on January 23 and ends March 24, 2017.  

DOE-RL and the Washington State Department of Ecology want your feedback on these proposed modifications.  Please submit comments by March 24, 2017, in writing, by mail or electronically (preferred) to:

A webinar has been set up to accommodate those who may not be able to attend in person. Participants on the webinar will be able to hear and view the presentation and ask questions.  No formal public comment will be taken at the public meeting but written comments will be accepted in person at the meeting or via email and mail until March 24, 2017.
