Hanford Events Calendar

This is a combined meeting of the Hanford Advisory Board (HAB) Tank Waste and Health, Safety and Environmental Protection Committees. Members will learn more about efforts to protect workers from vapor exposure and what role the Effluent Treatment Facility plays in direct-feed low-activity waste operations. The meeting will conclude with committee business. The HAB develops consensus advice on major policy issues related to Hanford Site cleanup. The advice is provided to the Tri-Party Agreement (TPA) agencies – the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, and Washington State Department of Ecology.
