The purpose of this meeting is the U.S. Department of Energy has proposed modifications to the Hanford Facility Dangerous Waste Permit involving changes to maintenance activities in the basins at the Liquid Effluent Retention Facility and the 200 Area Effluent Treatment Facility (LERF and ETF).  These Class 2 modification changes require a 60-day comment period, which began Aug. 25 and will go until Oct. 24, 2014.  Subject matter experts will be at the library to explain the need for the modifications and answer questions.
