The Department of Energy (DOE) Office of Environmental Management, DOE Richland Operations Office and the DOE Office of Technology and Innovation, along with Pacific Northwest National Laboratory are sponsoring a Hanford Site Deep Vadose Zone Technical Forum. The forum will focus on identifying and organizing the critical challenges associated with characterization, modeling, remediating and monitoring the deep vadose zone in Hanford’s Central Plateau.
